MAISON ESSENTIELE was conceptualized in 2018, when founder Olivia Koennecke, inspired by her grandmother’s vintage collection of nightgowns and robes, couldn’t find design-conscious sleepwear for the woman of today.

There, MAISON ESSENTIELE was born, existing to celebrate the beauty of simple moments, starting with your morning and evening rituals.  After growing exponentially from our first classic silk shirt & pant, MAISONESSENTIELE is now stocked globally in over 25 retailers.  We have an offering of sleep and ready to wear pieces, inspired by vintage ephemera, nineties silhouettes and classic tailoring for both in and out of the bedroom.
